We regard having an understanding of house design in multiples as being essential to the subdivision planning and design process. Too often we have seen subdivisions that fail to meet the needs of the market due to poor design, with Lots which are challenging to build on, or which fail on the basis of poor visual - and sometimes even practical - amenity.

Hamish has previous personal experience as a new home consultant and shareholder in a developer and builder of energy-efficient, environmentally-sustainable homes and light commercial buildings. Hamish also has ongoing relationships with many other home builders in the Canterbury region.

As well as land development and construction, we are well versed in urban design, from the New Zealand Urban Design Protocol (NZUDP) down to minor zoning rules, and Hamish has successfully negotiated with Councils to achieve ground-breaking concessions that delivered both unique selling propositions for the Developer and, most importantly, a superior living outcome for our clients.

We have also worked with banks, merchant banks, mezzanine and private equity funders, and can refer you to a range of prospective investors (and/or buyers) for your project.

We have sold bare land (rezoned and/or consented for development) all over New Zealand and we are contacted by Developers throughout the country who are looking to market their projects.
